What is the TITP Program?
The Technical Intern Training Program (TITP) is an official Japanese government initiative designed to transfer vital skills and technologies to developing countries. The TITP Visa Programme allows Nepali citizens to work in Japan under a structured training plan for up to five years. You gain an opportunity to work in 14 approved fields in the TITP Visa Program, such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, caregiving, and more.

Progression to Specified Skilled Worker (SSW)
After completing three years of training in Japan under the TITP program, you can apply to transition from a Trainee status to a Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) status. If you’ve passed JLPT N4, you’ll be eligible to take a skills test and change your status to SSW, opening doors to long-term work and career growth in Japan.
Progression to Student Visa
The TITP journey doesn't have to end with work experience. If you’re passionate about deepening your skills, earning a degree, or building a long-term career in Japan, switching to a student visa allows you to study in Japanese universities or vocational schools while continuing part-time work.
